I’m Razvan — a working dad based in Horsham, UK, with two daughters (a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old), a full-time job, and a Personal Trainer qualification that’s been gathering dust.
I used to love training and coaching. I was a PT for nearly a year and it was some of the most fulfilling work I’ve done. But somewhere between the nappies, the night feeds, the 9-to-5, and the general chaos of raising two small kids, I lost the drive. The gym sessions stayed — 3x a week, non-negotiable — but the nutrition fell apart. Junk food crept in. Meal prep stopped. The physique I’d been chasing since my high school years back in Romania felt further away than ever.
So this blog is my line in the sand.
We’ve got a family trip to Romania planned for the end of July 2026. That’s my deadline. I’m documenting the whole process — the training, the meal prep, the macro tracking, the days I nail it and the days I absolutely don’t. No filters, no pretending it’s easy, no skipping the parts where I demolish a packet of biscuits at 10pm.
What you’ll find here:
- Weekly updates on my cut — weight, measurements, what I ate, how training went
- Honest talk about fitting fitness around a full-time job and two kids under 5
- Meal prep ideas that actually work for busy parents on a budget
- The occasional PT knowledge drop — I’m qualified, might as well use it
What you won’t find:
- Polished influencer content
- Sponsored protein shakes
- Any suggestion that this is easy
If you’re a parent trying to get in shape with zero free time and limited motivation, you’re in the right place. We’re figuring this out together.
Let’s go.
